Use a key only if your app can't sign in. Anyone with this key can read this repository. Never commit it to git.
Sign in (recommended) or use a key.
- Create a key for this app. You'll see it only once. Name it after the app and computer, for example "Windsurf laptop".
- Save it as an environment variable, then point your config at it. Don't paste the key into the file.
Zed and Windsurf can use the same address plus a header that reads the environment variable.
